Sally Anne Wake Jones had a passion for painting from her early teens, and rarely went out without her sketchbook.  She had some formal art training at London University College Of Education, where the work she presented for her final exhibition was highly acclaimed.

Sally’s married to Peter and they have four children and two young grandchildren.  After pursuing a career in teaching, she set up her own tuition business, which later developed - with the help of her two daughters - into the publishing house Guinea Pig Education, which sells educational material all over the world.

Sally had her first solo exhibition, as an emerging artist, at the Century Gallery, Henley Upon Thames, and has subsequently showed her work in various galleries in Ipswich, West Mosely and the South of England, as well as, worked on commissions.  Her designs have been published as greeting cards with Ivory Webb, Appeals Collection.  She was listed on Larousse, a list of French artists, and featured in three editions of Regards, a French art catalogue.

In 2019, Sally exhibited four of the new series of paintings of Windsor Great Park at the La Galleria, Pall Mall, London.  She also became a finalist in an emerging artist competition at Create Gallery in Monmouth, where she is currently exhibiting “Sapphire Skies”.  Sally and Peter also feature online at the Wychwood Gallery, Oxfordshire.
